Caleuche the ship of the sorcerers

Concept illustration for my Masters Project based on the Caleuche, ghostship of the mythology of Chiloé.

Amongst the fog and rain of the Chiloé Archipelago of southern Chile, sailors mumble of a cursed ship- the Caleuche.
It is said to take on the souls of those who drowned in the sea towards their final underwater resting place, host spirits, witches and ungodly monsters in an eternal celebration of lights and music, aswell as capture and hold captive any onlooker who has the misfortune to cross it's path.
