Sunken Souls- Almas Hundidas

Concept illustration for my Masters Project based on the Caleuche, ghostship of the mythology of Chiloé.

The Caleuches crew is an eclectic bunch- be it mysterious sirens with a powerful gaze, accursed warlocks dealing with the dark spirits Wekufes to hatch their sinister plots, or the Imbunche- twisted guardian servant with one of his legs fixed to it’s back- incapable of speech.

These are but some of the crew - sailing the misty nights- out to gather the souls of the drowned...
